Guardianships

If a loved one has lost the capacity to make decisions regarding his or her property or personal care, a guardianship application may be necessary in the absence of a valid power of attorney.  In particular, a guardianship application may be required if your loved one has suffered an injury and court proceedings are to commence on his or her behalf against a negligent party.  Daniel Wilson Law Office can assist with your court application to be appointed as guardian of property for your loved one.

At Daniel Wilson Law Office, we can guide you through the court process in an efficient manner, minimizing the stress on you and your family as much as possible.  We provide compassionate and personalized solutions that recognize your unique circumstances.  Contact our office to discuss your circumstances and schedule a consultation.

NOTE:     If your loved one has suffered an injury due to another party's negligence, a guardianship of property application will likely be required prior to commencing legal proceedings against the negligent party on your loved one's behalf.   (Personal Injury)

Please contact Daniel Wilson Law Office for further information and to schedule a meeting.
